Taken at the same time as Map of a Tree, this Chinese Elm Tree revealed all in an afternoon photo shoot in Alexandria, VA. The light was changing from warm to cool and I captured this amazing star pattern within the bark. 

Star Bark is printed on Aluminum creating a stunning, vibrant, and contemporary piece. The sculptural pieces bring an added drama. The dye sublimation process embeds the photo directly into a specially coated aluminum sheet using heat, time, pressure, and special inks.
