I went to my first gem and mineral show and was taken with two rocks that were Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite. They fit together with a rift down the middle. I experimented by using UV light, and then white light, on the set-up and then combined the two images digitally to create this stunning version.

Spatial Rift is printed on Aluminum creating a stunning, vibrant, and contemporary piece. The sculptural piece brings an added drama. The dye sublimation process embeds the photo directly into a specially coated aluminum sheet using heat, time, pressure, and special inks. Aluminum is easy to care for and is humidity and water resistant creating long lasting Art to complete any room in your home.
