​During a really cold winter day, I captured this amazing image of Fractured Ice at Mulligan Pond in the Jackson Abbott Wetland Refuge. The pond froze 4-6 inches deep during a spell of 20 degree daytime highs, but had began to fracture as the sun hit it. The plops of snow looks like a moon and other planets so this image brought to mind a Fractured Universe.
